Paddle Sports by True North AK, offers tours, classes, equipment rentals and sales, all these transactions types shall be know as “services” as contained in these policies.
Cancellation policy general
Our services have limited availability, and many of our services sell out. For this reason, cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the service date will receive a 100% refund minus 10% handling fee. Cancellations made within 7 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours or less will not receive a refund. You must call us at 907-691-8909 between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM Tuesday – Saturday to cancel.
No Show Policy
At Paddle Sports by True North AK we pride ourselves on departing on time, as to not effect the travel plans of our clients. Therefore for all services if you are not at the designated meeting spot within 15 minutes of your services designated start time you will be considered a no show. No shows will not receive a refund. We will not wait for you if you are running late so not to affect our other clients travel plans.
Bad Weather Cancellation Policy
Your safety and our guide’s safety are important to us. As our activities take place in a natural outdoor setting, the weather can be unpredictable. As such we reserve the right to cancel or postpone your service in the case of bad weather. Bad weather is defined as predicted and unpredicted weather that includes but is not limited to, high wind, flooding, extreme cold, whiteout conditions, and thunderstorms. If we determine bad weather for your service is likely we will work to reschedule your service and or issue you a full refund.
