What to expect for this outing

We will meet at Lake Hood Sea Plane Base in Anchorage, AK. There, we will board a float plane. The  flight from Anchorage to our destination is approximately 1 hour. We will land on a glacier formed lake. From there, we will unload and prepare our gear.  We will then paddle around the lake for approximately 1.5 hours. All the while we will be surrounded by ice chunks and a wall of glacial ice. After paddling around and exploring for a bit, we will load our gear back onto the plane and fly back to Lake Hood Sea Plane Base.
