On the Paddle and Dine tour, we will follow a trail of connected lakes and streams that flow through the heart of the Mat Su Valley. Starting at Finger Lake and ending at Wasilla Lake, you kayak across lakes and through streams with views of the beautiful Chugach and Talkeetna Mountains. It is not uncommon to see moose, ducks, and fish along the route. At the end of the route, we will paddle up to a local restaurant where will have a meal together.

A typical trip itinerary is as follows:
At the designated time, we will meet at Newcomb Park by Wasilla Lake and then transfer everyone to Finger Lake. After paddling across Finger Lake there is a portage where we will carry our paddle craft up and down a hill to Cottonwood Lake. After paddling on Cottonwood Lake for a bit, we will stop for a snack. We then paddle across the rest of Cottonwood Lake to Mud Lake. Depending on water levels, we will either go through a tunnel or carry our equipment across Seward Meridian Highway. Afterwards we will follow Wasilla Lake to the chosen restaurant. There, we will unload from our watercrafts and have lunch in the restaurant we have chosen. After lunch, we will continue paddling across Wasilla Lake to our final destination-Newcomb Park.
