What to expect on the Paddle and Dine

A typical trip itinerary is as follows:

At the designated time, we will meet at Newcomb Park by Wasilla Lake and then transfer everyone to Finger Lake. After paddling across Finger Lake there is a portage where we will carry our paddle craft up and down a hill to Cottonwood Lake. After paddling on Cottonwood Lake for a bit, we will stop for a snack. We then paddle across the rest of Cottonwood Lake to Mud Lake. Depending on water levels, we will either go through a tunnel or carry our equipment across Seward Meridian Highway. Afterwards we will follow Wasilla Lake to the chosen restaurant. There, we will unload from our watercrafts and have lunch in the restaurant we have chosen. After lunch, we will continue paddling across Wasilla Lake to our final destination-Newcomb Park.
